• Charli xcx made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live, joining Role Model on stage as "Sally" during "Sally, When the Wine Runs Out."
  • Charli was wearing a "Max's Kansas City" shirt that fans think is a response to Taylor Swift's song, "Actually Romantic."
  • FYI, Charli simply borrowed the shirt from Role Model.

Today in everyone's spiraling, fans are convinced that Charli xcx fired back at Taylor Swift's new song "Actually Romantic" via a t-shirt. Confused?

So, Charli showed up on Saturday Night Live as "Sally" during Role Model's performance of "Sally, When the Wine Runs Out"....

...and she happened to be wearing a "Max's Kansas City" shirt. What does this have to do with Taylor Swift, you ask? Probably not much, but fans were quick to point out that Taylor's fiancé, Travis Kelce, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, Charli's shirt was actually a callback to Role Model's SNL promo with Amy Poehler—where he was wearing the shirt. Which, by the way, is a reference to the title of his album, Kansas Anymore. In other words, there's a lot of shirt related lore.

As for the "Actually Romantic" of it all, we have a full breakdown of the lyrics this way, but some highlights?

I heard you call me "Boring Barbie" when the coke's got you brave
High-fived my ex and then you said you're glad he ghosted me
Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face
Some people might be offended

Oh and:

Hadn't thought of you in a long time
But you keep sending me funny valentines
And I know you think it comes off vicious
But it's precious, adorable
Like a toy chihuahua barking at me from a tiny purse
That's how much it hurts
How many times has your boyfriend said
"Why are we always talking 'bout her?"
